After our amazing trip to the cliffs we headed to our cousin’s farm in Borrisoleigh, Tipperary County. Derry lives on 30 acres in the country and has 3 airbnbs for rental. The accommodations are charming and give the full effect of the Irish countryside we were looking for. Fairy Fort Farm is a traditional farm in the heart of the Tipperary countryside. It is an ideal location to unwind and relax. Savour the scenery, enjoy lazy days on the farm, feed the animals (hens, geese, goats, horses, ponies etc.).
We were welcomed by his wonderful wife and children. We were able to tour the property and get some history of the charm on the farm. You can find a stream, a wishing well and my favorite part…. the pondering tree. The Pondering tree is a quite place where you can reflect on which path of life you are going to take. It is peaceful and serene and guaranteed you will leave with solace that you have made the right choice. If you want to experience a the best of Ireland, I highly recommended your stay here.
